We raise awareness of less common cancers to secure the best services for patients

Story

So how to follow Trafalgaerobics and a half marathon? Easy - TOUGH GUY.

I will be hurtling round 8 miles of assault course and 'killing fields' on Sunday 31st January, in the deepest darkest countryside of Wolverhampton.

Before starting the race, all entrants must complete a Death Warrant, to indemnify the race organisers from being sued... I may die... so if I'm going to put myself through this torture please please please let it not be in vain and help me raise some more money for The Rarer Cancers Forum.

I'm pretty much guaranteed to get hypothermia. :) Thanks x

At 6pm Saturday 19th September, I will be leading an aerobics ‘class’ from the top of the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square, as part of Antony Gormley’s One & Other Project http://www.oneandother.co.uk/participants/claire_watson

I'm using this opportunity to raise money and awareness for The Rarer Cancers Forum - http://www.rarercancers.org.uk

Please dig deep to help this great charity continue to provide support for patients, suffering from cancers classified as 'rarer', and their families.

However, Trafalgaerobics is just the warm up... I'm also taking part in the Run To The Beat Half Marathon on Sunday 27th September, so please also donate that extra £5 you were thinking of donating to help me make it round 13.1 miles in sub 1hr 40mins!

Thanks!

Claire

About the charity

People with rarer cancers often feel isolated and find it difficult to get accurate information about their illness. We offer advice and information, put people in touch with others for support, raise awareness of less common cancers, and work to secure the best possible services for patients and their families.
