RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.

Exactly three years ago, I bought a bicycle and set out on an epic adventure from London to Paris. It was an incredible weekend, during which we raised over £38,000 for The RNLI, acquired a significant amount of chaffing and I met a certain someone who is now my husband!

In July we're doing it all again, except this time Richard will be riding a Boris bike!
