Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
I've always lived in Stoke on Trent and was always aware of the Douglas Macmillan Hospice and what they did. Or at least I thought I was. It's not until you actually have a relative in the Hospice that you appreciate the work they do and how wonderfully they do it. I'm running in remembrance of my Dad - Ivan Fernyhough. He died in April 2005 in the Hospice from bowel cancer. He was looked after so well and died with dignity. Me, my mum, my sisters and brother, and many other relatives and friends visited every day and were always welcomed. The Hospice is a truly deserving charity and who knows when you may need care like this. So please dig deep and show your support. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Douglas Macmillan Hospice will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
