Dear friends and family - Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

This July, I am planning on embarking on an exciting if not slightly crazy adventure, travelling from London to Paris using nothing more than leg power! I will be doing this alongside my good friend Carole Hutchinson.

I currently have a bike with only one pedal so the challenge this adventure presents should already be clear! We will be covering daily distances between 95 and 140km for four consecutive  days. My training so far has reached....17km. So, lots of training for me then!

I am undertaking this slightly insane event to raise money for Brake, the road safety charity. I am doing this in memory of my big brother Steve who was killed in April 2007 in a road traffic accident whilst out riding on his motorbike.  Having experienced first hand the devastating effects of losing a loved one in this way, I aim to a) raise awareness of road safety to help prevent anyone else experiencing this pain and b) help Brake support people bereaved through road traffic accidents.

I would be very grateful for any donation given as I have to raise a minimum of £1250 to take part. This has to be raised by 8th APRIL!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Brake, the road safety charity gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you again for your support.
