In April 2005 I found out that I had a Brain Tumour. It was removed in November 2007 thanks to the immense skill of my surgeon at Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre, Haywards Heath.
I am raising money for Hurstwood Park so that they can purchase a Neuro-navigation unit. This enables the surgeon to pin point accurately the site of a tumour or bleed to minimise risk to healthy brain tissue. Without the machine it could lead to damage resulting in loss of speech, movement or worse.
I am also doing this walk to say thanks to all at Hurstwood Park, who saved my life and to whom I will be eternally grateful.
Thank you so much for donating anything you can.
