About my charity : Meningitis UK Meningitis UK
Meningitis UK funds lifesaving research to find a vaccine to eradicate all forms of meningitis. Sadly the disease can be incredibly difficult to detect as the symptoms are similar to the common cold or flu, plus there are occasions when people show no, or very few, symptoms. For these reasons we believe the only way to truly eradicate the disease is through the development of a preventative vaccine, which is our sole focus. We are confident that with enough support, we will be able to put a stop to the heartache and devastation it causes.

My personal message:

Hello everyone. I am going to be running the Manchester 10k run on 18th May for Meningitis UK. I only got this place in late Aprilo and so don't have much time to prepare. I am training hard and really working to get as many people to sponsor me as possible so please help me out.

I am running for a very dear friend of mine who has recently been affected by Meningitis and is still in recovery. She has been one of my closest friends for years and so this is to show my support and how much she means to me.

Thank you so much for all the sponsors and support so far, this really means so much. Even if I reach my target of £400, please keep donating, it all counts and will make a difference.
