^{In November, I’m going to be part in the biggest challenge of my life! Alongside 19 other Hays employees, I will spend 5 days trekking in the Rift Valley (this is a section of a 6,000 km rift which stretches from Ethiopia to Mozambique) and 4 days working on a maintenance/building project and helping locals at a Maasai school (my DIY skills not that up to scratch, will need to get some major practice in before I go!)}

^{I need to raise a minimum of £3250. Any additional funds that are raised automatically go to Marie Curie and I really need everyone’s help and support in achieving this target.} 

^{I wanted to take part in the trek as feel really passionate about trying to do something to help those who are less fortunate than me. When the opportunity to take part came along, the timing was perfect and I jumped at it. Every year cancer claims the lives of more than 150,000 people and you may know someone who has suffered or died from the disease. I’m so thrilled to have been chosen to take part and this means so much to me. It doesn’t come close to anything I would have experienced so far in my life so I approach this with feelings of excitement and trepidation (those of you who know me well know this is not something I would be a usual natural contender for, look at my back pack for a start!)}
