The Hospice of St Francis is based in Berkhamsted and provides palliative care to people with life limiting illnesses in North West Hertfordshire and the Chiltern area of Buckinghamshire.

Each bed at the hospice costs over £85,000 to run per year.

By myself and others taking part in this event and raising sponsorship this year, we will help ensure that the Hospice is able to provide essential care for future patients and their families.

On the 21st of June 2008 myself and over 800 ‘pink ladies’ will take to the streets of Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted and walk 13 miles through the night.

This will be quite an achievement on my part and it will deserve to be recognised by a donation to The Hospice of St Francis, for which I thank you in advance.
