JDRF - Trek Jordan 2009 · 10 September 2009 ·

The National Autistic Society is here to transform lives, change attitudes and create a society that works for autistic people. There is still so much to do to increase opportunities, reduce social isolation and build a brighter future for autistic people. With your help, we can make it happen.

Story

Wanting to do something exciting and raise money for a very good cause close to my heart - I thought I would venture on an adventure!

A Trek in Jordan!
10-14th September 2009
This trek starts at the Dead Sea and ends in the famous city of Petra,
with a bit of walking in between; taking in the Petra mountains, bedouin villages and wadi/riverbed areas.

It's going to be a bit more than the usual 3-4 miles with the dog but I'm up for the challenge!

I intend to pay for the trip myself so everything donated will go to The National Autistic Society.

Many thanks for your support.

Claire :) x

Thank you to the kind folks of Ely for donating £414.53 - and to the money-magnets Liz and Jo for their help! :) x
