This caused her to immediately 'collapse'&nbsp;requiring&nbsp;18 minutes of resusitation and&nbsp;use of&nbsp;a ground-breaking&nbsp;intervention&nbsp;where&nbsp;Maisie's core temperature was cooled&nbsp;in the hope of lessening any potential damage caused by her brain being starved of oxygen.&nbsp; </span></span></span></p> <p><span style="color: #ff0000;"><span style="font-family: Tahoma; font-size: x-small;"><span style="font-family: &amp;amp;quot;Tahoma&amp;amp;quot;,&amp;amp;quot;sans-serif&amp;amp;quot;; font-size: 10pt; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ansi-language: EN-GB; mso-fareast-language: EN-GB; mso-bidi-language: AR-SA;">This was&nbsp;followed by two weeks of intensive care at South Meads (Bristol) Hospital who are helping&nbsp;pioneer&nbsp;this medical procedure.<br><br>Thanks to the skill of the medical teams and Maisie's fighting spirit, Maisie has made an excellent, perhaps even miraculous recovery. She shows every sign of not having suffered any long term effects. She and her twin sister, Amelie, are full of life and mischief as all toddlers should be.<br><br>I want to raise money is to say thank you to the medical staff that saved her, and to provide them with more equipment so they can help other children. .
