Having lost 4 stone, I was looking for a personal challenge to motivate me to keep going. This charity climb provides that challenge whilst raising money for a cause to help fight an illness that has touched my family. Whilst trekking up Kili, my Grandad and Nanny who both died from Alzheimer's Disease will be in my thoughts.

One in 3 of us will have some form of dementia in later life.
