Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Sofia was born on 11 May 2011 with a heart condition called Tetralogy of Fallot.  It is a very common form of heart disease, however it requires heart surgery to have a chance of correcting the condition.

On 20 October Sofia had her operation, and thanks to the amazing efforts of all the staff at Bristol Children's Hospital,  she has made a fantastic recovery.

I am running this race to raise money for the hospital as a way to say thank you to the team at BCH for saving our little girl's life, but also for all the other litttle girls & boys who might need BCH some time. The money raised will make life a little easier for patients and parents having long stays in the ward- the facilities were a godsend to us.

Those that know me will understand what a challenge this will be! 13 miles for a guy who has avoided exercise for the last 20 years!

Come on, dig deep, come along and support me (or have a giggle at me on the verge of collapse!)

Thanks very much
