St Mary’s has been the centre of Catholic life in the Clapham Common area for over 150 years.  

What we believe is more important than our building, yet our beautiful Church helps us in our faith.  It is for us a place of prayer, a place where we experience the presence of God.

In this building many of us have celebrated the most important events of our life:   we might have been baptised here, or married here, or buried someone we loved here.  

To ensure that it remains for the future, we need, over the next 5 years, to spend £500,000 to secure the fabric of St Mary’s Church.

 

Although the Church looks in good condition, this money is needed for major structural repairs to our spire.
