I am cycling 55km off road as part of the MTB Marathon event in Ruthin, on 31st August 2013 - see http://www.mtb-marathon.co.uk/events/ruthin.php for more details on the event itself.

I'm doing this event in memory of my dad, Mick, who sadly passed away earlier this year, after suffering from an aggressive form of brain tumour.

After initial concerns, I have now discovered that Brain Tumour Research do not fund or conduct research on animals, they use human tumour tissue removed at biopsy with appropriate consents.

Please dig deep and contribute as much as you can to help fund the fight.
