I am a determined fun loving individual who loves adventures and challenges.  Attempting to reach the peak of the beautiful Kilimanjaro has been an ambition since flying past the mountain more than 10 years ago and staring at it in awe.  The African people, especially the tribes local to the mountain are amazing.  They prioritise family life and deal with difficulties in practical and positives ways.  Save the Family Charity back at home in the UK, helps families who are in crisis. 

Everyday I see vulnerable families in the UK, coping and trying to manage their issues positively but too often are hampered in progressing as quickly or effectively as they could.  As I am climbing Kilimanjaro, I would like to raise vital funds to assist troubled families with practical support.  Things like providing items to build a home (bedding, kitchen utensils, etc) and clothing or educational tools for children as they continue to develop and grow despite being homeless.
