A close friend of mine lost her beautiful 11 month old baby boy in October 08.
I don't think that anyone should ever go through the pain and suffering I have watched her and her family experience.
Therefore, I am hoping to raise as much money as possible for this important charity in the hope that one day this will become a thing of the past and no other parents will suffer the pain and heartbreak from such a tragic and unexplained loss.
To raise as much as I can I did a bungee jump on 25th May 09 (one of the most terrifying moments of my life). I also did the Northampton 10k run on 4th October 09. I am now moving on to my biggest challenge which is attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro from February 28th to March 5th 2010.
Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa, is 5896 metres high, making it the highest free standing mountain in the world and will challenge me with rough terrain, forest trails and ice glaciers. The trek will push me to my physical and mental limits as I battle to overcome the trails themselves, the altitude sickness, the weather and the cold.
