<p>Hello supporters,</p> <p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I had a funny five minutes the other day and signed myself up for the 10k run in Bangalore (!) It seems crazy running in this heat, but it is all for a worthy cause (as I keep telling myself!)</p> <p>Since arriving in Bangalore five months ago, I've been looking for a way to raise money for&nbsp;underprivileged&nbsp;local children, so when this opportunity arose I couldn't turn it down.</p> <p>The Friends of Baale Mane - the charity I have chosen to run for provides a loving home for girls between the ages of&nbsp;6 and 16 who are either orphans, have a single parent who is unable to care for them,&nbsp;or have lost contact with their parents.</p> <p>Many of the girls have been rescued from a life of&nbsp;living on the streets and child labour.
