Story
Hi all,
As most of you know, we have a 5 year old son who has Autism.
Joseph was diagnosed when he was 2 years old with classic autism. We were very lucky that he was diagnosed so young, we were able to get alot of support before getting Joe into a special support unit for schooling.
It was quite a shock, so i turned to the NAS to answer my questions.
The NAS gave us alot of verbal support in the early days, advising me who to contact and what to do next.
This is my way of giving something back to them.
The trainwalk is the NAS new sponsored walk for families. The money you help me raise will help them to support people affected by autism in our local area.
Get your family involved and join us.
The walk is taking place on Worthing Seafront, starting at the Pier at 1pm, stopping off at our family beach hut for a drink and onto Sea Lane Cafe where there will be half priced ice creams!
Young and old, everyone is welcome - Worthing Seafront is wheelchair and pushchair friendly!
The work the NAS does for families like mine is wonderful, i hope you will be able to dig deep and sponsor us.
Many thanks
Gary, Clare & Joseph.
