Monday 22nd September 2008 Hello Thank-you for visiting my just giving fundraising page, I am now back home after completing my Ben Nevis challenge on Saturday 20th September. Our team faced very severe weather conditions with the temperature being minus 6 degrees, there were winds reported of upto 60 MPH and ice cold rain. We were exposed with nowhere to hide! This made our challenge extremely difficult and at times quite dangerous, but we continued in the cold, bitter weather and reached the summit. I decided to take part in the Ben Nevis challenge earlier this year in order to raise some much needed funds to keep the doors of The Laura Centre open. I have been a client at The Laura Centre for almost 3 years following the loss of my daughter Naomi in 2005 and also my son Thomas in 2007. The staff at the centre offered me help and support when I needed it most. The dedicated team of staff provide a much needed service to families and individuals living with family bereavement.
