Well, we did it, 5 hours and 15 minutes later (plus a sprained ankle for moi), we finally walked /limped across the 12 mile finish line, tired, achy & pumped full of glucose .....

Yes you are reading this correct, Louise are I are actually banishing our 5inch heels and are walking somewhere (and no, its not just to a cab) but 12 Miles for Charity!!

Are goal is the finish line and to help raise money for Michael Sobell House Hospice based in Northwood. This Charity personally means a lot to me as I sadly lost my beloved Mum to Cancer in November 08. The specialist care they give, combined with the amazing support they offer to relatives will always be something I will feel eternally grateful for.

For the hospice to maintain patient care it must reach an annual target of £1,200,000 in donations.  As cancer effects just so many people I would love to help enable others benefit from their  excellent work which is not only for the terminally ill but also for people living with the complications of cancer and assisting with specific complicated symptom control.

Louise and I shall be embarking on a gruelling training schedule of walking to the bar more frequently and perhaps even the occasional stroll round the shops! 

Thank you for taking the time to read this, would be fantastic to have your support and monies but even if you don’t wish to sponsor us we'll appreciate your sympathy when were complaining about our blisters and ceased up robotic'esq limbs!!
