The above picutre was taken over 15 years ago, whilst Clare and I were on a bike holiday in the mountains of Greece. We were young, fit, energetic and care-free. It was also the last time either of us rode a bike!

 

The upcoming bike ride from Hove to Guildford will be a real challenge. 15 years later; 1569 meat pies later, two children later ,3492 bottles of wine later, one knee operation later, two broken ankles later and, more to the point, just later then 1994.

 

However, this is nothing compared to the many challenges that children, young people and their families face everyday in Brighton and Hove - homelessness, abuse, violence in the home and the devasting effects of a broken family.

 

Just £5 can make a difference (of course, more money can make a bigger difference!). So please give what you can and help children, a young people and their families to have a better chance.
