10k run and midnight run in aid of Hospice care · 3 June 2008

Hospiscare provides free and specialised nursing to the terminally ill in Exeter, Mid and East Devon. It looks after more than 700 patients at any one time, supporting patients in their own homes and in its hospice. It relies on the generosity of the community to provide this vital service.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

I was faced with a decision this month. Do I do a 10K run or do I join in Hospiscare's midnight walk? As I was deciding, my mad friend suggested we do both!! So I am doing just that!!! On Saturday 14th June 2008 I have my first 10K run with the Exmouth womens running network. This is at Ashton Court in Bristol at the running network AGM. (Makes a change from dry committee meetings I suppose) Then we are jumping in the car and coming back to Exmouth to join in the Hospiscare womens midnight walk. (Only 8 miles, but in the dark).

For my friends Farrell and Mrs T in Bristol, It would be great to see you if you were around. For those in Exmouth feel free to come and wave us off or greet us back.........if you have insomnia. And if you are from Christ church on night watch. I promise we will be very well behaved.

Anyway, Rather than the tedious collecting of dosh after these events I thought I would leave it to you to decide if you would be kind enought to donate a few pennies.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Hospiscare gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please please please please sponsor me now!
