Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 11th April 2010, I ran the Paris Marathon in memory of Leigh Jepson, a much loved & greatly missed doctor who died suddenly aged 32, on 20th September 2009.

I am raising money for Medecins du Monde UK, an international humanitarian aid organisation (NGO), who provide healthcare to vulnerable populations around the world.

  • £10 equals 1 treatment for a person infected by malaria
  • £35 will give food and shelter to four street children who are victims of the war in the Congo
  • £60 will pay for a "Smarter than AIDS" kit to protect dozens of teenage street sex workers in Burma (Myanmar)

I'd be very grateful for your donation, which will support a cause that I feel befits Leigh's memory. Thank you! (remember how much I hate running, and most forms of exercise in general!.....)
