Story

The Classics Society are proud to invite you to join them for the Ides of March: Charity Toga Day!

Inspired by the Classics Department's fundraising event last year, we have decided to dig out our togas again this year in aid of the Nottingham branch of Headway House.

Headway House is a rehabilitation centre for those who have suffered brain injuries, their families and carers. For many people this is a difficult change and some find it hard to adapt their lifestyle and Headway House provides support as well as giving those at the centre opportunities to recover what they can and regain confidence.

So join us as we don our togas and take to campus on the Ides of March (that's the 15th March if you aren't sure!), or if you're too much of a coward, donate money at the Taught Courses office in the Humanities Building.

For those of you who don't think you can handle doing this sober, believe me, you can! You can look forward to the Toga Bar Crawl that evening to celebrate your hardwork and drink like Romans.
