Hi everyone, thank you for taking time to visit our JustGiving page.
Now, this is the first time as an adult, I will be raising money for charity, and well, for those who know me, it would have just been too normal for me to participate, in the usual walk or run, and having already sky dived, I wanted to experience something new!
Shaving my long hair off as a female may seem abit odd, (no I'm not doing 'a Britney', really, I'm ok at the mo' haha) but It's something I've always wanted to do ( I imagine quite liberating). As my Auntie June said she'd been thinking of shaving her head aswell, (yes, that is where I get my craziness from), we decided to do it together, and raise money for some good causes at the same time.
Once I'd spoken to Toni and his daughter Sacha (who was more than happy to oblige in undertaking the job, of 'expert head shaver'), I trusted the toni and guy charities were more than worth while causes to raise money for.
So that you're aware, of where the donated money will be going, some of Toni and guy's charities are;
Macmillan cancer support; providing wigs for those affected by cancer.
Fondazione Oasi Regina Degli Angeli; supporting a refuge centre near Naples Italy. Money donated helps to provide medical and educatonal resources for the disadvantaged young residents, of which many are suffering physical and or psychological problems, and who perhaps are at the refuge escaping various kinds of abuse.
Variety club childrens hospital; Toni and Guy's children's ward, based in Kings college hospital London, supporting renovations and new facilities to benefit the sick children who find themselves having to spend time there.
