Story
CLIFF WEST
Cliff has lived a full life. He was a keen sportsman, a gymnast and footballer in his youth, a cricketer a little later on and he even gave an attempt to play golf. However, more recently Cliff turned to the gentler sport of fly fishing. He was a lively character, centre of attention and always had something to say. He also gave over 30 years of his time to various organisations to help raise funds for local charities. Cliff sadly passed away peacefully in the East Lancashire Hospice on the 17th January 2009 after a brave battle against pancreatic cancer. Cliff was a much loved husband, a good father, a brother, a son, a special father in law and most importantly a friend to us all. Cliff gave his time and love to many people and we will all miss him.
Rather than flowers our family would like donations to be made to Pancreatic Cancer UK which is dedicated to funding research and providing support to patients and their families.
