Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit Birmingham Drugline's JustGiving page.

We provide a range of free services to support people to stop using drugs, and to reduce the harm caused by drug use.

On 18th September 2010, staff, volunteers and friends of Birmingham Drugline completed a sponsored climb of Mount Snowdon in Wales, (3,560 ft above sea level) to raise money for the service. The event went without a hitch and was really enjoyed by everyone who took part. We hope to repeat the event in the future with some of our service users as part of supporting their recovery from problematic drug use.

We aim to create a fund that we can use to provide items such as hats and gloves for people who are sleeping rough in the winter.

We also aim to fund a healthy eating project where we provide fruit, nuts and seeds to our homeless service users, alongside information about how good nutrition can improve mental health and support efforts to become drug free.

This page will stay open for another three months, so if you would still like to make a donation, it will be gratefully received.

If you know anyone who might benefit from advice or information about drugs or drug treatment, please give the team a call on 0121 632 6363.
