Hi,
Thanks for visiting my fundrasing page. This is the 3rd year that I have applied to run the London Marathon, and I've finally got in! I'll be running to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis (CF), which my 7 year old niece (Natasha) has.
The average life expectancy of someone with CF is currently 31 years - back in the 1930's it was just a few months. It is hoped that with ongoing research, a cure may soon be found. There are around 7,500 people with CF in the UK, of which 70% are under 20
Hopefully, you will have all heard from me by now. If not, then it was a great day, and I finished in 3:41, which I was very pleased with, and I'm now busy collecting the remainder of the sponsor money!
If you would like more information on CF, please look at www.cftrust.org.uk
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure and is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cystic Fibrosis Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
So please sponsor me now!
Many thanks for your support.
Regards,
Clive
