The Three Peaks Challenge · 17 April 2005

SOS Children's Villages UK offers unsupported children worldwide the chance to grow up in a safe and nurturing family environment with education and healthcare. We work to reduce family breakdown and child abandonment and protect at-risk children affected by conflict and disaster.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. All money raised will go to SOS Children's Villages.

The plan is on the 29th April a group of us will leave West London in a minibus to drive overnight to Scotland. To be met by the mother of all multi-mountain climbs, it is a trek with pan-Britannic sweep, taking in the highest peaks in each of the three countries that make up the island of Great Britain. That's the Three Peaks Challenge: You have to climb the tallest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis, 4,408 feet [1,344 meters]), in England (Scafell Pike, 3,205 feet [977 meters]), and in Wales (Snowdon, 3,560 feet [1,090 meters]).

And you have to do them all in 24 hours!!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: SOS Children's Villages will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now! Many thanks for your support, Clive.
