The songs on my new album Closer to home are all inspired by family and friends. I hope you enjoy them. Recording these songs makes me realise how lucky I am to have such wonderful family and friends, and I thank you all for your support over the years.

I wanted to have a charity element to the album. I have chosen Jessie’s Fund, which helps children with special needs all over the UK by providing music therapy and other opportunities for creative musical experiences. Victoria Wood is the charity’s patron.
