Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge · 7 July 2008

The Christian Medical Fellowship was founded in 1949 as a fellowship for Christian doctors and medical students. We have over 4,500 members in all branches of medicine, and over 1,000 student members. Our four aims are: • Discipleship • Evangelism • Mission • Proclamation

Story

On Saturday 9th August Jonathan Buckley and Michelle Tseng, both of Imperial College Christian Medical Fellowship, will be tackling the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge with other CMF students and staff. 25 miles of walking up the three peaks of Ingleborough, Whernside and Pen Y Gent all in 12 hours!

We look forward to a great time of sweat, toil and graft; and building friendships with medical students from across the UK whilst tackling the peaks together!

The aim is to rasie £10,000 total (with other's in CMF) to fund the national students' conference which attracts around 350 UK and international students each year. I attended this as a first year medical student last year and found it incredibly encouraging and helpful in many ways. With the daunting and exciting prospect of being a med-student/doctor for Christ this really was an amazing event for me!

We want the great work here to continue. The conference is heavily subsidised each year and without this many students simply could not attend.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Christian Medical Fellowship gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Thank you so much for your help and generousity
