CMN sponsored walk · 9 August 2008

Caring Matters Now has 3 main aims: 1. To support those affected by Congenital Melanocytic Naevi Syndrome (CMN). 2. To raise awareness about CMN Syndrome. 3. To raise funds for the CMN Syndrome medical research.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

My name is Sharon and I have a daughter with Congenital Melanocytic Naevus.  CMN is a rare skin condition, consisting of large, hairy brown/black birthmarks.  The marks cover 80% of a persons body.

Caring Matters Now Support Group aims to raise £30,000 each year to fund the CMN clinic and the CMN research at Great Ormond Street Hospital.  If the funds are not raised, the CMN clinic and research will close, so CMN sufferers have to raise the funds on an on-going basis.

As a mum of a child with CMN I am keen to support this work so I am organising a sponsored walk on 1st September.  The walk is taking place from Holt to Minington and back again... 18 miles in total!  Please would you support me by donating through Justgiving.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Caring Matters Now gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now!

Thank you!
