<p>Our mother meant a huge amount to a lot of people. She cared deeply for her friends and her family. She is missed so very very much.</p> <p>Our mother spent the last weeks of her life in the East Lancashire Hospice. She was happy there, the staff ensured that our mother had both medical support and a smiling face during the tough times. The care they provided was amazing (there is no other way to put it). The best way we can honour the memory of our mother is to ensure that other people receive the wonderful care that she received in the hospice. &nbsp;</p> <p>East Lancashire Hospice relies on public donations so that it can provide the service it does. It costs over &pound;2.8m to keep the hospice open every year.</p> <p>Please give generously, it really is a fantastic place.
