My story
Hello!
Welcome to our fund raising page, thank you for taking the time to visit and thank you in advance for your donation
So, this coming July myself and three of my very enthusiastic and competitive work colleagues have decided to put ourselves to the ultimate test and socialise with each other outside the office walls (first hurdle!), navigate and travel over the border to Wales.
On top of that, we have very seriously signed up to this charity challenge in aid of REGAIN, where we will all be put through our paces and only the toughest mentally and physically will prevail.
As a team of four we plan to; cycle 40 miles up and down dale across Snowdonia, climb 4 miles and 2,900 feet to the top of Mount Snowdon (and back down) and then canoe as far as our muscles will take us....all against the clock. With us all being a variety of different sizes, ages and physical abilities, when presented with the challenge we just simply thought 'why the hell not?'
The thought that we will be ultimately helping others who have been affected by such tragic sporting circumstances, to become more independent and overcome even greater challenges in their daily life with the specialist equipment that we will help provide, goes some way to spurring us on. But we still need your help ~ every penny counts so in true sponsorship fashion ~ "please dig deep and donate now!"

Regain - The Trust For Sports Tetraplegics
Charity Registration No. 1030693
Regain is the only charitable organisation dedicated solely to improving the independence of all British men & women who have become tetraplegic as a result of a sporting or leisure accident. A tetraplegic is unable to walk and has limited reach & dexterity because use of the arms is severely impaired.
