Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. I teach at a secondary school in West Sussex where I am a sixth form tutor. The pupils and their parents have always responded generously to any charity that we have supported. We have had a number of pupils at our school who have gone to Lourdes as helpers and found it very rewarding. Other pupils have considered it but sometimes the cost has restricted them. I am running for HCPT to raise funds to enable more pupils to be involved as helpers in the future.

This is the fifth time I have run the London Marathon. The last occasion was in 1994. This time, I am quite content to finish the event in a reasonable time and still be able to enjoy the post Marathon recuperative meal and many drinks!
