We are three 'normal' lads from Darley Dale, Matlock and we have taken on a massive challenge this August...  We are going to cycle Coast-to-Coast, which is from St Bees right across to Robin Hoods Bay, that is 210 miles (as long as we don't get lost).

We are raising funds for 'The Weston Park Hospital Cancer Appeal', the donated money will be used to help people living with cancer through improving treatment and care for patients.

Please sponsor us, your donations will spur us on over the terrain even when our legs don't want to.

SUNDAY 24TH AUGUST - THE GUYS SET OFF MONDAY TO ST BEES, READY TO START PEDALLING ON MONDAY 25TH AUGUST.

MONDAY 25TH AUGUST - AFTER CYCLING FOR 8 HOURS AND 50 MILES THE GUYS HAVE ARRIVED AT THE YOUTH HOSTEL OVERLOOKING LAKE WINDERMERE - THE TERRAIN HAS BEEN VERY HARD GOING AND THE TORRENTIAL RAIN HAS WELL ERM... HAS MADE IT TWICE AS HARD, THE MOUNTAINS HAVE PUT THEM TO THE TEST - DEFINITELY READY FOR THEIR EVENING MEAL AND A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP READY FOR TOMORROW

TUESDAY 26TH AUGUST - WELL THE WEATHER WAS UNKIND AGAIN TODAY AND THE TERRAIN NOT MUCH BETTER, SPIRITS ARE STILL HIGH THOUGH, ALTHOUGH THE SADDLE SORE WELL LETS NOT GO THERE, I'M SURE YOU CAN IMAGINE.  THEY'VE REACHED TONIGHTS SLEEPING QUARTERS - TAN HILL INN, BOWES, THE HIGHEST PUB IN BRITAIN ABOVE SEA LEVEL

WEDNESDAY 27TH AUGUST - HELEN AND VIKKI PLUS CHILDREN SET OFF TO ROBIN HOODS BAY READY FOR OUR ARRIVAL TOMORROW (THURSDAY)

LEFT TAN HILL - WEATHER NOT AS BAD TODAY AND DOWN HILL FOR A LITTLE WHILE TILL WE REACH ANOTHER INCLINE AND ANOTHER AND ANOTHER AND ... STAYED OVERNIGHT IN GREAT AYTON - DID APPROX 20 MILES MORE THAN ANTICIPATED

THUSDAY 28TH AUGUST - LEFT GREAT AYTON - ON THE HOMEWARD RUN - WHAT AN AMAZING ADVENTURE WE'VE HAD, SUPPORT ALL OF THE WAY FROM FAMILY, FRIENDS, ON LOOKERS, MATLOCK MERCURY AND PEAK FM.

ON ARRIVAL IN ROBIN HOODS BAY - THANK GOODNESS THE TIDE WAS IN STRAIGHT INTO THE WATER WITH THE FRONT WHEEL - CLAXTONS AND CHEERS GALORE - OVERWHELMING
