All done, 37hrs, 217mile, 8000m of climbing. See Mrcyclist27 on you tube to see some of the videos. A massive thanks to all that have sponsored us your generosity is amazing.

On Wednesday the 19 of May 2011 five of us including Paul Scott, Marc Styan, Steve Edison, Kevin Walker and Andy Willet will be riding the Coast 2 Coast route off road from St Bees to Robin Hoods bay. 

 

We will complete the 200 mile route over a challenging 4 days, putting us in the saddle for between 6 and 10hrs a day for 4 consecutive days.

 

The route is challenging and crosses the Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors, and takes in such climbs as the Black Sail Pass. 

 

We are doing this ride to challenge ourselves and to raise money for the

 

‘CHILDRENS HEART SURGURY FUND’ 

 

This charity is very close to all of us and Paul who has a 4 year old nephew born with a heart defect. Cameron is a brave lad who will require on going surgery and treatment into his adulthood and the CHSF makes a difference to both Cameron and all those other children having to spend time in hospital.

 

So no matter how much you sponsor you can be sure it will make a profound difference to the treatment and care of all those children with a heart defects.
