So the general idea is that I get on my bike on the west coast of England and peddle as fast as I can to Sunderland. I'm hoping to do this in two days, roughly 70 miles one day and around 60 miles the next. Hugely ambitous, and yet ridiculous at the same time as my bike doesnt have an engine.

However I hope you agee this is for a worthwhile cause. Broadgreen Hospital; specialist regional centre for the North West, provides exceptational care.

Every day, they save lifes and ensure people who are less fortunate are treated with compassion and are comfortable in their final days.

So please donate if you can, I do appreciate and understand its tough times and any contribution no matter how small, is valued.

If you wish to follow my progress 'live' or see if I hop on a bus, you now can via 'map my ride'. In addtion i'll post some pictures on Twitter pointing at signposts! Please follow @fussylockstar for progress.
