For children that need it the most, Craig and Adam are doing the coast to coast · 17 February 2014

Chuf's mission is to make life better for children and young people who are born with or who develop heart conditions by providing lifelong support to them and their families. Chuf supports children who receive treatment at Freeman Hospital and many other hospitals throughout the North of England.

Story

On 24th July 2014, the team of Craig Ball and Adam Fellows will embark on a 4 day, intense running challenge that takes us across Hadrian's Wall.  Starting at Carlisle and finishing at South-shields, the route will take us from one side of the country to the other, with a hill climb of upto 500ft!

Our challenge is in aid of the Childrens Heart Unit Fund (CHUF). Based at the Freeman Hospital, CHUF is at the forefront of children’s cardiac care by raising money to buy equipment, facilities, aftercare, and research for the Children’s Heart Unit and PICU. Small pieces of equipment help the nurses on the wards and larger items help doctors and surgeons undertake complex operations. Any donation would be much appreciated!

As for ourselves, we are always looking for a challenge and the run certainly provides that, as well as testing our patience with having to put up with each other for 4 days straight!
