For my Grandad...
I am backpacking from Salcombe - Babbacombe (in Devon) at the weekend (8/9th October 2005)
45 miles in two days. Part five of a lifelong journey around the coast of Britain.
This is leg five of our trek and is dedicated to my Grandad who recently passed away. He was literally as tough as old boots and a symbol of strength and determination for me. One of the many ailments that he fought with was cancer hence my wish to try to give something back for all the effort and care he received. Hence I would really appreciate it if you can sponsor me with a donation to Cancer Research UK a world leading organisation dedicated to research into this disease that seems to touch so many people's lives.
