Get involved with Camille's Appeal's first Coffee and Cake morning right there in the comfort of your very own home or even at work.
On Thursday 20th October 2011 you can hold your own Coffee and Cake morning to help raise money for Camille's Appeal.
Bake some biscuits or a cake or two, find a suitable box or collection pot for donations, and you're good to go!
You can keep it very simple, but if you'd like to be a little more adventurous, here are a few ideas to make your coffee morning a big success-
ñ Get into the bake-off spirit and ask your guests to vote for their favourite cake in return for a donation. We’ll be posting a couple of our favourite recipes for you to try soon.
ñ Hold a pamper session with face masks and home manicures or pedicures for a small donation.
ñ Are you a card player? Make a donation to play and have a hand or two of whist, poker or snap. Or eyes down for a game of bingo?
ñ Organise a quiz and charge a small entry fee
ñ Encourage your guests to clear out their wardrobes beforehand, and you could have a swish, and go home with your perfect item of clothing, in return for a small donation.
ñ Remember, it doesn't HAVE to be coffee. You could hold the event in the afternoon or evening, and serve tea, soft drinks or something a little stronger instead.
