Story
My name is Kiefer, and in september, myself and a group of other people of mixed ages are going to be cycling across France, from Boulogne to Biarritz, totalling around 650 miles to raise money for ColaLife!
ColaLife is a charity who outline the fact that you can buy a Coca-Cola virtually anywhere in developing countries
but in these same places 1 in 5 children die before their 5th birthday from simple preventable cause like dehydration from diarrhoea.
ColaLife is talking to Coca-Cola about opening up its distribution channels in developing countries to carry 'social products' such as oral rehydration salts, high-dose vitamin A, water purification tablets, or whatever else is required in a particular locality to save lives, particularly children's lives.
People are dying every single day in developing countries because of the lack of simple things which most people take for granted, such as clean, running water. Without clean running water, it means that people are dying of preventable causes, namely dehydration and diarrhoea.
Your donation would, simply put, be saving lives. On a daily basis, and building a stronger bond between the developed world, and the undeveloped world. It would be increasing the life expectency, and quality of life for people living under these conditions.
More information about colalife can be seen on their website, www.colalife.org
Thankyou very much to anyone who donates and supports this very worthy cause!,
