Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. This is a huge event for me --my first marathon but the run is for my friend -  Sandra Pearson.  Sandra loved running and cycling in and around the city and surrounding countryside, and as she is an Edinburgh girl, I though it appropriate to do the Edinburgh marathon for her.  As many of you know, Sandra has been enduring Huntington's - a degenerative genetic disease which has no known cure.
Although research is progressing, many families continue to need extensive support in order to cope with the long term management of this illness.
