In May 2007  Dave Barras and Colin Banks completed a  circular walk in the Peak District of Derbyshire, you may remember the article in the Local Newspaper.  100 miles in 4 days.  We succeeded in raising nearly £3500 for Cancer Research UK .  Now we have decided to embark on another challenge coast to coast from Ravenglass in Cumbria to the Holy Island in Northumberland. This time it will be 192 miles in 8 days.  This time we are jointly raising money for Cancer Research UK and the Hospice Movement (East Ches Hospice and St Anne’s).  Naturally we are looking for sponsorship amongst our friends and colleagues and if anyone would like to sponsor us, please call me (Colin Banks) on 01663 734971 or 07866 035936 with your pledges.  We hope to have enthusiastic support as most families have been touched by cancer
