Thames Bridges Bike Ride · 23 May 2004 ·

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

I'm cycling the Stroke Association's "Thames Bridges" Bike Ride starting at Tower Bridge and riding up towards Hapmton Court, crossing 14 bridges in the process.

My motivation to ride for this particular charity is my late Grandad who suffered a stroke in his mid 40's and survived until well into 70's. My girlfriend Nicola is also taking part; her Dad is recovering from a stroke suffered a couple of years ago.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Stroke Association will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please dig deep and sponsor me online.

Many thanks for your support.
