Story

In my continuing attempts to stay out of the pub during the Summer I'm once again going to do a series of sporty challenges to help raise money for TIME.  Doing 5 events this year & stepping up the difficulty a bit...

Blenheim Triathlon Sprint Distance - COMPLETED
21st May
750m Swim; 20km Bike; 5km Run
Finished 373rd out of 1966 competitors so snuck into the top 20%.  Total time of 1hr 26min

3-Peaks Challenge - COMPLETED
9th-10th June
2,963m of climbing plus 500miles of driving, all within 24hours
The BMF Green Team finished ahead of the 24-hour time limit, taking 22 hours to scale Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mt Snowden.

London-Paris Bike Ride - COMPLETED
20th-23rd July
London-Paris via Portsmouth, Caen, Bernay then after 3 days, 420km & 18hours in the saddle we finally ran the gauntlet of the Arc d'Triomphe to finish the journey ahead of Floyd Landis & the Tour peloton.

London Triathlon Olympic Distance - COMPLETED
6th August
1500m Swim 29mins; 40km Bike 1hr 11mins; 10km Run 46mins; Total time - 2hrs 32mins - much better than expected so very pleased!!

Richmond Duathlon - COMPLETED
17th September
9km Run 37mins; 20km Bike 41mins; 5km Run 22mins; Total time was 1hr 46m.  286th out of 1300 runners.
This year, all of the proceeds I raise will go to TIME.  Details of the charity can be found at http://www.transplantsinmind.org.uk/  It is a relatively small charity so any donation will be most appreciated.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Time (Transplants In Mind) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.  So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
