Raising Money for Cash for Kids
Barcelona Bangers is a holiday with a difference! Driving from Calais, down through Brittany and onto Toulouse. Then on the final day we drive through Andorra, over the Pyrenees, past the beautiful Montserrat mountain and onto Barcelona on the Costa Dorada, sound like fun?? Then try it in a car worth less than £200.....
Allan and I saw this website and thought it sounded like fun, a little discussion, checking of diaries and ok a couple of drinks later and we were paying our entry fee. The next thing was to decide on a theme and a charity to do this for.
The car is to be decorated like a cow (hence the name comeonthecoo) with the help of Angus College art department and this is what we intend to drive through France and Spain.
The charity was a little easier to decide on as we were both keen on the idea of a children's charity and we have both, in the past been involved with Radio Tay's Caring For Kids, now Cash For Kids as you see named here. This is a very well run and hugely important charity for the children within the Tay territory and having witnessed first hand the good work it has done we were thankful of the encouragement and support the charity organisers have given us.
It is important to point out that ALL expenses incurred bafore and during this trip will be met by Gordon & Allan so any donation made will go in its entirety to Radio Tays Cash For Kids.
