Computing is supporting Computer Aid International's work to deliver health services to the people of rural East Africa by providing IT equipment, training and support to doctors in rural areas.

Supported by Computing, the introduction of basic laptops, digital cameras and scanners, together with an internet connection, has already connected rural doctors in 40 hospitals with specialists to help them diagnose and treat patients. This work has already saved lives and helped countless people gain access to top class medical care.

The task now is to roll this programme out to benefit a further 80 hospitals across Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

It costs just £965 to fully kit out a hospital and train doctors through this programme. Every penny you contribute through this page will help another hospital. So please give generously.
