Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for cancerbackup.
Fighting and surviving cancer goes further than drugs and medical therapies, it is also about providing sufferers the support, information, and encouraging advice that they need to get through it and finding the resolve and determination to take it on. Its not just the patients that need the support, it is also family and friends that sometimes need the facts and information to give them what they need to help their loved one.
Cancerbackup have been of great help to me and I will be forever grateful to them. Now, it is payback time and i am going to run 40km (26 and a bit miles) to raise funds for this wonderful organisation in the Flora London 2007 Marathon . I've been running 10ks for six months now and this is my biggest challenge to date. I did all the leg work on cold winter nights in preparationfor the 22nd of April and managed a time of 3 hours 59 minutes and 3 seconds. So now that i've done it please give me your support and give Cancerbackup some money to continue their work.
