Hi,

I am a Colt member of Blunham Cricket Club in Bedfordshire and we are trying to raise money to refurbish our pavillion and improve our facilities so that one day maybe I or one of my peers may have the opportunity of walking out to bat or bowl for England should our services not be required in Blunham! ( well you`ve got to aim high! )

Obviously there are many ways to fundraise ...sitting in a bath of baked beans , running an allotted distance and these have been considered, but thanks to the ingenuity ( or insanity and too much time on the internet )  of one of our members ..Neil..we have decided to play a game of cricket, but not an ordinary 45 over game of cricket...no , we are playing a game of cricket that starts at 9am on friday 19th september and finishes at 8pm on sunday 21st., yes that`s 59 hours inclusive!

Of course I am keen to complete this marathon attempt but an added incentive would be your sponsorship ( and of course without this the whole thing would be just a group of  24 cricket mad males indulging in their favourite pass time), so please please, dig deep and sponsor me..large or small amounts, it all adds up and I`m as grateful for the fiver as I am the hundreds!
